How we score
Every page gives a one-letter rating (A through D) based on three dimensions:
- Platform security — what the vendor ships and patches
- Default posture — how safe the out-of-the-box configuration is for new projects
- Failure modes — the specific issues we find in deployed apps on that platform
The score is weighted toward defaults. A platform with an A on infrastructure and a D on defaults gets a B overall — because most users are on defaults.
